Caroline Hancock-Ebner, Deputy Head of Mission, Swiss Embassy, called on Chairman NDMA Lt. General Inam Haider Malik

Cn NDMA LtG Inam Haider Malik held meeting with Swiss Deputy Head Mission, Mr. Caroline Hancock-Ebner today to discuss MoU draft. MoU will expand coop b/w🇵🇰 🇨🇭on Disaster Risk Reduction, Preparedness & Mitigation to enhance 🇵🇰's resilience against disasters .

Meeting encompassed discussion of draft MoU for collab with universities capacity dev, research & knowledge sharing in field of DM. Cn NDMA updated Swiss DHM on newly remodelled National Prep& Response Sys to str🇵🇰prep & response capabilities against disasters proactively

Cn NDMA also discussed a collaborative framework for NIDM as national think tank to promote knowledge exchange&best practices in DM.The meeting concluded with understanding on a joint working group to ensure implementation of MoU's milestones&action plans on periodical basis.
