Over 3 impactful days, the #SimEx2025 brought together disaster management authorities, humanitarian agencies, and frontline responders to strengthen Sindh’s disaster preparedness and resilience. 
Day 1:
High-level opening & strategic sessions on disaster risk, monsoon outlook, early warning systems & NDMA’s Monsoon Simulation Model.
Keynote speakers included Dr. Abid Jalul Din Sheikh (Rescue 1122 Sindh), Ms. Hilde Bergsma (WFP), and Mr. Adil Askari (MPA Sindh).
Day 2:
Scenario-based group simulations covering urban floods, cyclones, heatwaves & more.
9 syndicates, including PDMA, Armed Forces & academia, presented dynamic response strategies.
Day 3:
Live mock drill with Rescue 1122 & KMC attended by Mr. Faisal Edhi.
Cash-based programming simulation by WFP.
Closing remarks by Addl. Chief Secretary Abdul Waheed Sheikh emphasized NDMA’s key role in national resilience.
