Today, NDMA hosted a high-impact Humanitarian Conference on “Enhanced Coordination for Early Warning & Preparedness – Monsoon 2025” at its headquarters in Islamabad.
 
With overwhelming participation from UN agencies, NGOs, INGOs, and development partners, the event emphasized on Integration of data & response via NEOC, NGO footprint mapping across Pakistan and role of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in disaster research & training along with Proactive, risk-informed humanitarian response strategies.
NDMA urged all stakeholders to move beyond reactive response and become embedded actors in Pakistan’s anticipatory and proactive disaster management framework.
 
The conference marked a significant step toward bridging gaps between institutional response and community-based preparedness, ensuring that humanitarian interventions are timely, localized, and backed by real-time data and shared resources.
