The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) conducted the Industrial Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) and CISE-8 to strengthen preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities for potential industrial emergencies and disaster scenarios.

The exercise brought together relevant stakeholders to simulate emergency situations, assess response mechanisms, identify operational gaps, and strengthen inter-agency coordination. Participants engaged in scenario-based discussions, technical sessions, coordination mechanisms, and response planning to enhance institutional readiness.

The exercise also provided an opportunity to review existing industrial disaster response protocols, communication mechanisms, resource coordination, and emergency management procedures. Key observations and lessons identified during the exercise will support further improvements in preparedness and response planning.

Through Industrial SIMEX & CISE-8, NDMA continued its efforts to promote proactive disaster preparedness, coordinated emergency response, and resilient industrial communities across Pakistan.
