NDMA has formalized a Letter of Agreement (LoA) with the EvK2CNR to strengthen collaboration in cryosphere research, disaster risk reduction, knowledge exchange and capacity building.

This strategic partnership aims to promote research-based solutions and scientific studies to address Pakistan’s evolving climate and disaster-related challenges, with a special focus on mountain ecosystems and the Hindu Kush-Karakoram-Himalaya (HKH) region.

Following the signing, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening linkages between science, research and sustainable development, while exploring opportunities for joint programs, research dissemination and collaboration with academia and relevant scientific institutions.
