Distribution of financial assistance by NDMA to the heirs of miners who died in the Balochistan coal mine accident.

On the instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, relief checks were distributed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to the heirs of those who died in the tragic coal mine accident in Balochistan.

Relief checks of 2 million rupees per family were distributed to the heirs of the 34 miners who died in the accident that occurred in the month of July 2026.

The NDMA team distributed the relief checks in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the assistance of local representative Dr. Ibadullah.

Expression of solidarity with the affected families by the federal government, and reiteration of the commitment to provide all possible assistance to the affected families in this difficult time.
