The 6th Board of Trustees Meeting of the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) was held in Bangkok on 12 November 2025.
A Pakistan delegation led by Chairman NDMA, Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, HI (M), participated in the important regional event. Pakistan is proud to be one of the seven founding members of ADPC, an organization chartered to advance disaster resilience and preparedness across Asia.
Pakistan currently serves as the Deputy Chair for 2025–26 and will assume the Chairship in 2026–27, reflecting the country’s growing leadership role in regional disaster management cooperation.
During the meeting, the Chairman NDMA showcased Pakistan’s innovative, proactive, and impact-driven approach towards disaster risk reduction and resilience-building. The ideas and perspectives presented by NDMA Pakistan were immensely well received, particularly by the delegation from China, which expressed strong support for Pakistan’s proposals.
