Participants of the 2nd National Leadership Program (NLP): Leadership Beyond Limits visited the National Disaster Management Authority's (NDMA) National Emergencies Operations Center (NEOC) as part of the leadership program being organized by the National Defence University (NDU) in collaboration with CEO Club Pakistan from 3–6 August 2026 at NDU, Islamabad.

The National Leadership Program is a premier executive development initiative aimed at strengthening the leadership capacities of senior public and private sector leaders in Pakistan. The 2nd NLP Cohort, comprising Chairpersons, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and senior executives from leading government and private sector organizations, visited the NEOC to gain insights into Pakistan's disaster management framework.

During the visit, participants were briefed on the NEOC's advanced technologies and integrated platforms for weather forecasting, multi-hazard monitoring, impact-based early warning, and the timely dissemination of alerts and advisories. They were also apprised of NDMA's proactive approach to disaster risk management, anticipatory action, and emergency response.

The participants appreciated NDMA's efforts in strengthening Pakistan's disaster management system through innovation, technology, and risk-informed decision-making to enhance national preparedness and resilience.
