The meeting was attended by Counsellors General of Pakistani embassies in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Montreal and others. The discussions focused on enhancing preparedness and response mechanisms to effectively manage the challenges posed by the upcoming monsoon season.

 

The Chairman NDMA briefed them about Pakistan’s capabilities on disaster risk reduction, early warning systems, and international cooperation for resource mobilization and technical support. The ambassadors emphasised their commitment to working closely with NDMA and leveraging their diplomatic channels to secure necessary support and funding.
