Held on 5 November 2025 at NDMA Headquarters, Islamabad, the seminar brought together experts from government departments, academia, engineering institutions, development partners, and practitioners to deliberate on climate-resilient infrastructure, sustainable construction, land-use planning, and governance reforms. The discussions focused on translating post-flood experiences into actionable, policy-relevant recommendations under the Build Back Better framework, emphasizing resilience, sustainability, and coordinated reconstruction tailored to Pakistan’s evolving climate risks.
Risk Reduction Measures for Housing Sector of GB & Northern Pakistan against Monsoon Rains (Urdu)
In light of the increasing damage to the housing sector caused by monsoon rains in the northern regions of Pakistan, this advisory has been prepared by the Infrastructure Advisory & Project Development (IA&PD) Wing of NDMA.
